ISIN Code

ISIN Code

ISIN codes are used worldwide for one main purpose: to identify securities and for clearing and settlement purposes. The ISIN code is a universal standard code, 12 digits in length, that is specific to one’s country, unless the securities are settling in Euroclear or Clearstream, where an XS ISIN is allocated. ISIN numbers are obtained by companies globally, and funds, hedge funds, unit trust, Comanches issues shares or stock, notes or bonds and many other type of securities obtain ISIN codes.
